Sorry guys I have been away for some time recently... I am changing my job and might not be online as often as before. Anyway I'll try to catch up with you guys whenever and wherever I can.

So how about artworks you may ask... don't worry I won't leave dA - I don't have a reason to leave and I have thousands of reasons to stay. Art progress might be slower at the beginning, and please don't be surprised if I'm away for quite a long time.


Oh, meet my newly added friend ~X-singular, he joined dA to comment on Tekken artworks from us and I hope with enough inspirations, he will start to draw awesome artworks.

I visited the plaza again (lol its not a mall as earlier stated) and had some good time enjoying Tekken 6 for the last 2 days.

The Arcade
Due to the cost, I only had very short time for it... its not the price per game that matters, its because we need to pay to enter the game area.
At $4 MYR per hour, all games in that area is free to play. But mostly are outdated games including Tekken 4. $4 MYR will give us 8 DR games outside the hourly-charged area.
We need to purchase tokens for new games e.g. T6, TimeCrisis 4 etc.
So its basically wasting money if you went there and watch other people play.

IC Card
For the 1st time, I got myself a Tekken IC Card. It has Zafina on it as you can see in TZ's T6 IC Card & Customization thread.
I chose Heihachi and named it "prikey mishima", but it became "m???ima" when its done. I thought the card was corrupted, but then found out in TZ - "ish" is a censored word (if it represents a "word" that is) in naming your Tekken card.
Earning money is too slow. I will not have customizations on Heihachi for a long time.

Bonus, Sub-boss & Final Stage
Out of the past 3 visits, I only managed to fight Nancy twice and Azazel once.
I have no strategies fighting Nancy, I just keep attacking with high damage moves (note: plural), and she will attack back with even higher damage move (note: singular). Eat her machine gun attack and 1/3 of your life is gone.
You can't juggle Nancy.
Jin in all-time rage mode will boost your adrenaline to very high level...
I think block stun / guard break doesn't work on Azazel, it blocked Heihachi's u/f+3,4 and punish back as soon as Heihachi lands after the kicks.

Gameplay
These are some abservations while I was playing / watching:
Devil Jin's 3+4,2 is a throw on hit. I thought it was just like True Ogre's flying attack where it cancels the knock down and fly towards opponent. The throw animation is kinda cool too.
Heihachi's headbutt f+1+2 has B! effect. I don't know why I'm doing it though... it was after the wall splat and I got confused of "what to do next", then came out this move and it bounce. lol.
Julia's mix-ups are even harder to predict now. @_@
Wall splat have ridiculous settle-down time (from hitting the wall to completely lie down). I was once sent to the wall from a distance, wall combo is not possible because its too far but then the opponent (DJ) runs towards and hit me with d/f+4 and it still connect. I can assure that was not an oki.

That's all I can remember from my last visit... if I found anything new (to me, at least) on next visit, I'll update here again.

1st Mar: Original Entry
Finally, I got my dirty hands on Tekken 6!!!

It was yesterday, I had a brief 1 hour on playing T6. I wasn't have the chance to online yesterday but I'm still excited until today!
It wasn't the standard cabinet I saw in youtube, it's like the DR cabinet embedded with LCD screen (probably 25"). Maybe its another cabinet version of T6.
All characters were released, so I'm suppose the machine was there for some time already. Gahhh what a slow Tekken fan I am, let the T6 sneaked under my radar! XD

Okay let's see, price per game was expectedly expensive: around 2~3 times of DR game. That's still no so bad...
CPU is more hard to beat compared to T5, I wasn't able to complete stage 5 during that hour... lots of new moves, not to mention new characters that I have totally no idea how to fight against.

Heihachi Mishima's physique seems less buffed in T6... and I can't do dash~cd moves for good, so I often missed the dash-in 2 hellsweeps + TGF after the bounce effect.

Wall game is one thing worth to mention, I mean, doing W!,f+4,B!,u/f+4,4,4,4 with Kazuya is totally satisfying! Demo man or d+1,4,2 with Paul on wall is also fascinating.
Stage collapse can be confusing sometimes... I don't know what to do next...

My most faved deviation, When Devil Jin meets Xiaoyu, made from their T5 CGs got deleted. The reason? As usual, copyrightophobia!

I submitted that back in 2005. WHY TAKE YOU SO LONG, PIMP???
It's not like I'm gonna rant about it, but I used to read how people response to the controversial hug Devil Jin gave to Xiaoyu. Those are funny comments. Awww man...

Obviously someone has reported it. But who? I don't care anyway, there're still bunch of so called copyrighted works in my gallery, delete them as well why don't you?

Oh, I'll be away for the upcoming Chinese New Year, might not be online often (or not at all) for a short while. Wishing you who celebrate CNY: GONG XI FA CHAI!!!

I’m not a fan of him, but I came across this sad news while reading online news. I could only remember him as Mel’s eldest son in “The Patriot” and another movie “A Knight’s Tale”, never watched Brokeback Mountain though.

Aside of that, I know this is old but I think I have to put it here, it’s the final fighting scene from Jackie Chan’s 1994 “Drunken Master II”.
The fight between Jackie and his opponent, which is also his real life apprentice, meant more than “just another Jackie Chan’s fighting scene” for us Tekken fans.
